Scot was called as our Senior Pastor on August 28th, 2011.  He is married to Rev. Paula McCosh, who serves as our Children & Youth Pastor.  Scot comes to us from active duty military Chaplaincy having served with the 101st Airborne, 7th Special Forces Group and JFK Special Warfare Center and School.  Prior to his active duty Chaplaincy Scot served as Co-Pastor of Prospect Hill Baptist Church, Prospect Park, PA; Associate Pastoral Intern at the First Baptist Church of Philadelphia, PA; Youth Pastor at Trinity Baptist Church, Philadelphia, PA and Camp Pastor of Crosspoint Sports Camp.  His academic preparation for ministry includes a BA from Samford University, Birmingham, AL; MDiv from Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary, Philadelphia, PA and a MSW from Temple University, Philadelphia, PA.

Scot & Paula have one daughter, Kate, age 12.  Kate  is a competitive figure skater and her Daddy's pride and joy.

An avid sports fan, Scot enjoys watchingt everything from local children's leagues to the pros.  When he's not watching sports he enjoys running and hiking and taking Kate on Daddy daughter dates.
