Todd grew up in Troy, N.C. and lived there until leaving for college at Campbell University.  Todd earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion from Campbell University in 2001.  In 2005, Todd earned a Master of Divinity from Campbell Divinity School, concentrating on Preaching and Pastoral Ministries.  While at Campbell, Todd met his future wife, Kim Huggins.  Todd and Kim have two daughters, Hannah and Emma.

Todd is convinced the church's best work should happen between Sunday's.  He enjoys preaching and hearing other good preachers.  He also rides dirtbikes, enjoys off-roading, playing ice hockey, and watching the New York Yankees and Chicago Bears.  Todd likes talking about any of those interests over a very strong cup of coffee.

Todd has served Mount Pisgah as pastor since February of 2006.
