Weekly Ministries
Sunday School
Each Sunday morning at 9:45AM there is a Sunday School class just for the youth (6th – 12th Grade)! In this class, youth learn about who God is and how they can grow in their relationship with him.
Sunday Night Bible Study
Each Sunday night there is a youth Bible study. During this time, youth spend time in fellowship and then have a lesson about different life issues and how their faith relates to it.
Wednesday Night Bible Study
Each Wednesday night youth come together for a time of service in the community! During this time, the youth visit other church members, serve in ministries in the community like the Gray's Creek Christian Center and much more.
Other Ministries
Summer Mission Trip/Camp
During the summer, the youth go on a week long mission trip to serve other people. In the past, the youth have gone to Grifton, NC and Red Springs, NC and have lead children in backyard bible clubs, helped rebuild people’s houses, done construction work, helped at a boys and girls club, and much more!
Winter Retreat
At the beginning of the year, the youth attend a weekend Winter Retreat. In the past, the youth have gone to Winterplace, WV for this retreat to spend a day skiing. This is a fun and busy weekend in which the youth are able to ski and also grow in their relationship with Christ through worship.
30 Hour Famine
Each Spring, the youth participate in World Vision’s 30 Hour Famine. Each youth raises money to help feed children who are in poverty and then come together for 30 hours to fast together and understand what these children experience everyday. The youth also do several service projects throughout the 30 hours to serve people in their community.
Monthly Activities
Each month there are activities planned for the youth. In the past we have gone ice skating, bowling, swimming, gone to the movies, had lock-ins, and much more. The youth have also participated in a number of service opportunities each month. They have helped serve at the Gray’s Creek Christian Center, served in various areas during Vacation Bible School, helped people in the community through yard and house work, and much more!
